Things I apparently hated whilst Christmas shopping:

  • Shopping.
  • Christmas shopping.
  • Everything.
  • Waterstones.
  • Christmas.
  • Jeremy.
  • Walls.
  • Builders.
  • Penises.
  • Jimmy’s hair.
  • My tutor.
  • Politics.
  • Ponies.
  • My hat.
  • The sky.
  • Straight people.
  • Gay people.
  • Bisexual people.
  • Transgender people.
  • Walking.

As you may or may not be able to guess, I am not particularly fond of Christmas shopping.
 AAARGH.

I am going to go and stay with my Grandma this Christmas. Also with my brother and Auntie Jin. Oh, wot larks we shall have, eh Pip?

…. Grr.

Stephen Fry! Eeep!

Mr Fry has a blog on his excellent website, www.stephenfry.com, and for those of you who are technically minded, it turns out that he is as well. He’s also written some rather lovely stuff on fame, addiction, and global warming, none of which are preachy. Each article is roughly as long as it takes you to have a cuppa and a biscuit, or some cheese on toast, which is just lovely.

Oh, I must get a copy of Wilde. It’s a superb film, it really is, and the courtroom scene gets me every time. ‘The love that dare not speak it’s name…’, oh, Oscar Wilde. Can’t wait for January when we start Dorian Gray, which is a beautiful book, even with that frankly irksome chapter in the middle in which we learn in great detail about various carpets Dorian buys - a fascinating look into his insanity, but still incredibly dull. Otherwise, it really is, as IMHO all Oscar Wilde’s work is, a smashing book.

Look, Stephen Fry appears to have a webcam on his mac

I look forward to finding out exactly why he is in America and what precisely he is filming. HIV and Me made me go out and tell some of my friends that Stephen Fry said they should wear condoms, so why weren’t they using condoms? God only knows what I’ll end up saying this time. : )

Can you imagine John Barrowman as the Wicked Witch of the West?

No, nor could I, but I have playing at this very moment ‘The Wizard and I’, bless his little heart, from Wicked, which proves me very wrong. The man is completely off his head and I love it.

Why did I take so many essay-centered subjects?
